Whether you grew up with the film, are obsessed with all things Star Wars, or even a first-time explorer of the cult-cinema world -- rediscover the magic of movies on the big screen and relish the communal experience that only a gathering at the cinema can offer.

COSTUME CONTEST RULES: 
Send us a photo of you in your costume. Deadline 5/1, but the earlier the better. This can be via Instagram or Facebook (@arcatatheatrelounge) or by email ([email protected]). We'll post the photos on our social media accounts and have our followers vote. The night of the event we'll bring everyone who entered up on stage and the winner will be announced.

​Redwood Parks Fundraiser Festival 
Come to the Park Side! Come out and enjoy the last Hike and Bike with a special event at the visitors center. Join us for an self guided tour along the Revalation Trail and look for your favorite May 4th characters in the heart of the Redwoods. Get ready to unleash your inner Jedi as we explore the magnificent forest while channeling the force. We will also have live music and costume contest so dress up as your favorite character and come out and enjoy nature. Come and enjoy the May 4th classic movie in the campfire area starting at 11am. This in-person event will transport you to a galaxy far, far away, right here in Orick, CA, USA.

The Eureka Chinatown Project is an initiative by community members and Humboldt Asians & Pacific Islanders in Solidarity (HAPI) to honor the history and culture of the first Chinese people in Humboldt County, California.

Hosted by Eureka Main Street, who supports the businesses in Downtown and Old Town and hosts community events such as the monthly First Saturday Night Arts Alive.​

While you're there, enjoy opening receptions for artists, exhibits, and performances. Local shops and art galleries stay open late as artists spill into the streets performing live music, dance, and fun for the whole family. Visit more than 75 open cultural sites and businesses displaying artwork or hosting performances.  

Be sure to stop by the Visitor's Center, next to the Gazebo!
