Friends of the Dunes is a non-profit dedicated to conserving the natural diversity of coastal environments in northern California through community-supported education and stewardship programs.

FESTIVAL ACTIVITIES
At the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center
Sunday, June 2nd from 10am-1pm
SPECIAL ​FREE Event!  
​A Space-themed guided "World-Hopping Dune Walk"

World-Hopping Walk Through the Ma-le'l Dunes North. Voyage from the swamps and wetlands to the FOREST MOON then take a selfie in the sandy dune world! Get the family outdoors to explore the magical dune ecosystems! Arrive on time as the guided walk departs promptly at 10:00am. This is a 3-hour hike. Bring water, bug spray, sunscreen, a hat and long sleeves/pants recommended. Costumes encouraged!

The public park system of California administered by the California Department of Parks and Recreation, a department of Natural resources.

​We will be hosting guided walks though Cheatam Grove at Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park on Friday 5/31- Sunday 6/2 at 10am, 12pm and 2pm.
